Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jallandhar is a Private College established in the year 1898. The college is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, located in Punjab with an annual intake of 50 seats.

Dr. Rakesh Sharma, dean academics Guru Ravidas Ayurvedic University Hoshiarpur, told that this prestigious occasion is sponsored by All India Ayurved Congress, Punjab & Chandigarh Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine, Punjab & Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur. 

Hospital:Sham Arora addressed people saying that popularity of Ayurveda existed since the period of Hindu mythology and requested Dr. Manoj Nesari to sanction 50 bed to hospital of Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur and requested permission to admit level-1 Covid patient in Ayurveda.At present the college has 63 beds hospital, including 2 beds in emergency section, that imparts training to the students as well as serves the ailing humanity.

The college is running regular OPD’s in the hands of specialists. This is the only hospital all over Punjab in which Ayurvedic Multi Specialty Clinics are running. Patients with various chronic diseases are regularly visiting the OPD’s & are being cured successfully. Facilities for minor OPD procedures are also available.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
  2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology,Physics & Chemistry.
  3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
  4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
  5. Applicants should be an Indian.
